Glamping on the Croatian coast, let’s first start with what even glamping is, especially as the term is quite new and could be understood a bit differently.
Glamping stands for glam and camping. It describes a way of camping with amenities, not typical for basic camping, as it usually includes resort-style services. Arena One 99 Glamping, for instance, offers spa areas, restaurants, fitness and other amenities meaning it is almost considered as your little hotel in nature, where you have your own ‘tent’.
Glamping is becoming very popular in 21st-century as the majority of us are looking for accommodation with adventure surrounded by nature. “Glamping is where stunning nature meets modern luxury. It’s a way to experience the untamed and completely unique parts of the world—without having to sacrifice creature comforts.” – here
We visited the first ever Croatian campsite, which is fully dedicated to glamping – Arena One 99 Glamping. It is based in Istria, Pomer and fully surrounded by nature with few meters away from the sea coast. You can choose between eight different types of glamping accommodations. It was open last month (June) and apparently, it is fully booked for the following two years! So, you can tell I was very lucky to be there.
All in all, I finally found the perfect definition of camping for me, so-called today glamping!:) Have you every went glamping, if so where? What are your first thoughts? Let me know and enjoy this hot summer. I am off to glamping now.
