1. Attach a removable strap to teh back of the bra (either side works).
2. Take the strap and pull it around your back.
3. Pull it around the front of your bra underneath the cups to the other side.
4. Attach the strap to the other side.
5. Done! Your strapless bra is now more secure:)

It really depends on the occasion, but here are some tips and ideas. Strappy and fancy heels can quickly look too dressy, but you can always pun on some nice sweater and you will look stylish and chic. If you want to achieve the classic, but sporty look you can go for a sneakers (but keep in mind to match the right socks:)). High heel boots can end up being a bit sexy, so be a little bit careful what you are wearing on top. However, you can still enjoy in your creativity as I prepared some ideas on the picture below.
